In 2020 we had our first solar panels installed on two of the farm buildings with up to 45kwh out put. With this improvement we were able to supply most of the electric to the farm and dairy with solar energy reducing our carbon footprint these

We are now looking to increase our use of solar by installing more panels this time with batteries to store energy, further reducing our reliance on energy from the grid.

Sustainability
We have already started improvements on the farm and in the dairy to become more sustainable. We try to purchase from local businesses as much as we can. All of our products that we sell are produced on the farm and all our milk comes from the ladies on the farm.

Glass Bottles
Our door step delivery and vending machine milk is all pre bottled in reusable and recyclable pint glass bottles with recyclable foil lids. All the milk we use comes from the ladies on the farm and is pasteurised in our own dairy then bottled on site ready for the customer

Electric vans
We use full electric vans for our door step deliveries as another way to reduce our carbon footprint. The charge timers are set so they will charge from the solar power during the day, It also reduces the noise for our customers and the locals when delivering during the night
